charlie and the chocolate factory.
learnt alot from charlie indeed. what a incredible boy.
small on the outside, yet big on the inside.
it was until the 3rd time only did he find the precious golden ticket.
each time he opened up that willy wonka's chocolate bar, you can literally feel the anxiety and anticipation in his heart. and also, you can also feel the disappointment whenever there is no sign of any golden ticket.
but almost immediately, that disappointment would go away.
refreshed by full faith and hope.
such a young boy. yet never gives up on his dreams, desires and having a heart filled with hope to the very brim, in fact, overflowing.
many a times, disappointments do come into our lifes. but how many of us can actually be like charlie ? whereby your hopes will dash all disappointments ? such great faith. wow.
another thing ive learnt from mr charlie is that he heart goes out to the people around him. a self less and far sighted boy.
he knew how poor his family was, and wanted to trade the golden ticket with money.
have any idea how precious is one golden ticket ? theres only 5 in the whole wide world. zillion, billion and millions of people are after these pathetic 5 tickets! and charlie is willing to give it up.
we all have many things to juggle in our lives.
we have things that are precious and close to our hearts too.
things like family, cca, steads, studies and even some friends around us.
but are we willing to forgo something to reach a higher level of calling from God ? when God called upon you to take out that particular thorn in your heart, how willing are you ?
and you know what ?
charlie chose family over the chocolate factory.
and guess what happened ?
in the end, he have both the chocolate factory and family.
same goes to us in our christian walk isn't it ?
we do not have to let go of our family and studies completely. God never did ask us to give up either of that. all things are possible. we can strive well in all areas of our lives.
be like charlie.
all things are possible. charlie held on to what his grandmother said.
all things are possible.
what about YOU?
joyous. loving Him. ;
